  • Assists in the review of current employee relations policies, practices and procedures for the organization to ensure uniformity of application and compliance with company policy. Assists in developing materials to communicate new programs, policies and/or changes to the organization to ensure up to date knowledge of human resources policies and practices.
  • Provides guidance, support and counsel to managers and employees on all employee relations issues within established parameters. Assists in the development of plans and programs to guide and train employees on employee relations issues. Facilitates company approved employee training sessions and guidance meetings.
  • Facilitates company approved training programs to enhance manager/employee coaching, communication and feedback programs that enhance employee satisfaction and to resolve misunderstandings before they escalate.
  • Assists in advising management and employees regarding the interpretation and application of human resources policies, programs and issues. Reviews unusual or complex matters of significance with senior level personnel prior to consult.
  • Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing human resources practices and recommends appropriate courses of action to change company policy, procedure or practice.
  • Maintains metrics need to comply with legislative and internal requirements. Prepares, analyzes and distributes reports as appropriate within company guidelines and confidentiality requirements.
  • Preparation of DXC EWC meetings (venue, travel, budget tracking, agenda preparation, meeting material preparation, liaise with management presenters)
  • Partner / work together with HR, Legal and Business Leaders to ensure the appropriate engagement with the EWC members.
  • Ensure open and effective communication and engagement with EWC representatives, develop and implement best practices.
  • Post EWC meeting support (minutes of meetings, distribution of materials, follow-up actions)
  • Preparation of all information & consultation meetings, liaise with management negotiation team for preparation of meetings
  • Supporting the Europe LR Director and collaborating with legal function to effectively deal with multifaceted complex employee relations and legal compliance matters, including identifying labor ‘hot spots’, immediate solution oriented approach to organized labor activities
  • Supporting local LR and HR resources to manage relationship between EWC and local/country level employee rep bodies

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, industrial relations, liberal arts or related field preferred
  • Six or more years of human resources or employee relations experience
  • Experience working with human resources principles, practices and procedures
  • Experience working with human resources laws and regulations
  • English native or fluent speaker, plus one additional European language

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with management and employees on employee relations issues
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Good personal computer and human resources system skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
  • Willingness to travel (limited)
  • Knowledge of the company's businesses, internal policies, and service offerings. Knowledge of corporate structures.
  • Knowledge of core European Social Directives, Regulations and legal requirements.
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Ability to utilize and maintain internal collaboration databases ( Microsoft Teams Sites / Sharepoint).

Work Environment

The role can be based anywhere in Europe and will be part of a remote team.
