We currently have two part time positions for a Trolley Assistant to join our team at PAK'nSAVE Tamatea.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position involves working in and around a large PAK’nSAVE Store. You will be the first and last staff member a customer sees when they arrive and leave the store, so it is really important that you are friendly, approachable and helpful. If being active is important to you, this could be an ideal role as it involves collecting trolleys from our large carpark and returning them to the front of the store so there are always plenty of trolleys available for our customers. You will cover a lot of ground every shift!
One role is suited to a high school student, the other is suited to someone looking for part time employment.
Responsibilities include:
- Collecting trolleys and ensuring the trolley bays are stocked at all times.
- Keeping trolleys clean and free from rubbish.
- Helping customers to their vehicles with their groceries if required.
- Completing daily fuel site checks, ensuring the immediate surrounds of the store including the car park are kept tidy.
- Interacting positively with customers at all times.
We invite applicants that are highly motivated, friendly with a great team attitude. We are looking for someone with proven reliability and loads of enthusiasm.
You must:
- Be physically able to push heavy trolleys for several hours per day, and in all weather conditions (the supermarket is busy regardless of whether it is hot, cold or wet outside!)
- Have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Be customer focused
- Have the rights to work in New Zealand
