The Green Isle Hotel is an independently owned hotel based in Clondalkin, Dublin. We currently have a vacancy for an experienced receptionist to join our friendly front-of-house team.
Requirements
- Minimum one year’s previous experience as a hotel receptionist
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends as required
- A knowledge of Hotsoft Front Office System or similar is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work equally well in a team environment and on their own initiative
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Answer switchboard and telephone in a friendly, professional manner
- Take reservations, noting any special requests
- Promote and sell the hotel's facilities at all times
- Ensure billing is correctly done to the agreed standards
- Handle floats and safe deposits, maintaining high levels of security
- Update and balance reception cash at the end of each shift
- Provide tourist and other local information to guests
