Responsibilities

  • As a Learning Representative consultant, you take on a key scope of work in ensuring adherence to the site technical learning process within his/her area (process, unit, department, …).
  • You ensure operational effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of the technical learning process, thus making sure the necessary technical learning processes are implemented & applied correctly.
  • You are on top of area’s learning needs and lay the groundwork for confident/competent task execution by employees.
  • You work very closely with the site L&D Department, Leadership positions, Process Owners & Business System Owners.
  • You asses learning needs and defining learning solutions.
  • You are in delegation of the department supervisor/manager responsible for an effective, compliant and efficient learning strategy.
  • You interact with different stakeholders (users, process owners, learning representatives, …) to enhance learning.
  • You ensure procedures and training materials are implemented (formal learning).
  • You assist with curriculum management activities (approval, review, assignment).
  • You coach/mentor colleagues on technical learning process and promote alternative leaning methods.
  • You understand the compliance requirements related to Technical learning management.
  • You install tools to improve the training/learning culture in the department.
  • You are the designated person in charge for audit preparation and inspection readiness initiatives regarding technical learning.
  • You monitor and report process/learning performance to supervisor/manager.
  • You map learning needs and implement learning solutions.
  • You facilitates the periodic curricula review.
  • You install monthly self inspections regarding training and reporting within the department.

  • You are able to build a proactive learning culture: motivate others, negotiate appropriately and install tools to improve the learning strategy.

  • You are able to handle pushback and resistance in a calm, measured way. As new information comes to light, you are willing to recalibrate the plan if necessary.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills.
  • You can work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • You embrace change and makes the best of any situation due to a positive and constructive mindset.
  • You are an expert in connecting people.
  • You are innovation driven.
  • You have strong L&D interest and eager to become an expert through self-guided learning.
  • You are quality/compliance oriented.
  • You have strong communication skills both speaking and writing.
  • You have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain and adhere to schedules with minimal supervision
  • You have a good understanding of adult learning and blended learning principles
  • You have good presentation skills.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
